FEMININE=RIGHT
Envision this portrait series to not only honor the evolution of black culture in media but also to introduce the perspectives of using both healthy Feminine and Masculine polarities of the brain to serve justice in equality.
Through FEMININE = RIGHT I take on the approach of the Crown representing cultural and traditional hairstyles on 8 creators and entrepreneurs of the Tulsa community.
I Hope this series will encourage you to explore how your paradise could exist with God given feminine and masculine polarities that are in us all.

FEB 2021,
Fire In Little Africa featured this part of F=R for their Black History Month celebration. It is so exciting to be apart of the preservation of Black History in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Sept. 1, 2020
Now it's 2020, an unimaginable year, amongst all things I have found my way back to creativity. And 70s-90s fashion and style is alive again. We are reliving the exact styles, it’s crazy. But This photoshoot is inspired by Missy Elliot & Lil Kim. This idea sparked when I saw Missy Elliot at the MTV awards last year. I already previously planned a mini shoot for Creative Souls with Le’ Shade. But of course timing has to be right. So I believe that time is now to combine the two ideas for my own project to produce. Always put my ideas into events when I don't have time to do my own shoots.

Behind the Scenes
Born in the 90s, I got to experience sitting in mama's lap getting my hair detangled, barretts and the heat of hot combs. As I aged mama encouraged me to learn how to do my own hair. So as I look back to memories in the early 2k era, hair salons were a new world of adventure.

Behind The Scenes : Equal Rights
Paying attention to relationships and the roles between genders.
Taijitu Symbol taught me a lot about the polarities of life and it’s existence.
Independent 2 parent African American household. Eldest daughter of 2 sons. Over the years working mother and working father. Stay at home mother and stay at home father. Living free and living paycheck to paycheck. Blessed to explore many parts of the world.
I always pay attention to how gender roles are displayed in many environments and occasions.
Moments, I wondered why there isn't love for women like for men when they are sick, when they are motherless, when they are tired, when they are hurt, when they are hungry, when they are celebrated..
Moments, I wonder why there isn’t love for men like for women when they are nurtured, when they are fatherless, when they are spoiled, when they are hurt, when they are celebrated..
Darkness and Lightness
Treat people how you would like to be treated
I just want someone to love me like I love
Over time I learned how effective life and business can be when both feminine and masculine characteristics are used by all genders.
Division between the two will cause chaos and destruction in paradise.
Here on earth there will always be darkness and light, and for me to keep my posture with God's commands, I stand on FAITH to shine bright overcoming whatever challenges that may come. God has gifted me a voice through visual art.
Affirmation: " I will not let anyone or anything make me feel doubtful or shameful of my right
to be rich, to be wealthy, to be happy, to be healthy,
to always have a positive mind."
