iBXXX is a visual experience of portrait series produced by Serae Avance. I simply want to invite you into my world of photography and collaboration. To provide the substance. The reasoning behind the preservation of portraits, concepts, and people captured.
For All That Jazz And Blues, I had the pleasure to capture musicians, singers and performers inspired by Greenwood's Jazz & Blues era. Many legends passed through Oklahoma to perform in the 1920s, 1930s and years after that. It's a huge honor to collaborate and celebrate that sound and atmosphere with Charles "Chuck" Cissel (former CEO of Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame), a Tulsa legend for short. So of course the Mabel B. Little Heritage House is the perfect location for the photoshoot. Haven't been inside since my elementary school field trip.
Its the nostalgia for me!
